I know I didn't do the best job asking the question, but I'll try to be short and sweet. I'm going to turn 18 in one month and 5 days. I got my license exactly one year ago, November 14th,2009. In January 2010, I got into a small accident, it was during my midterms at school, was a little stressed, but I rear-ended somebody, sadly not in my crappy car that would've cost barely anything to fix, but in my fathers expensive car. Since the incident, my parents have not got into an accident in at least 7 years, and since my accident all i have received is a few parking tickets. Due to an illness/ disability in our family, despite having health insurance, we still owe thousands in medical bills. Those that would not work with us turned them into collection. They now show on our credit report. I want to hire 50 car parking spaces from a major retail outlet in the UK with a view to renting these spaces to commuters /I will be sharing their car park with the retailers customers. Does anybody know of or know a way of finding an insurance company that insures car park operators?

Insurance for 1998 Corvette for 18 Year Old Male?

Okay, so this question is one of those, if you have to ask you can't afford it type of questions. Now I have loved Corvette's since I was old enough to identify cars. I have always dreamed of owning on, and the opportunity is upon me. After selling my car, and saved money, and saved funds, I can afford a 1998 Corvette Silver Automatic. Now it's a V8, and is pushing over 300HP easy. Insurance is ridiculously high, even with 2 and a half years of perfectly safe driving. (I hate the stereotype of just because I'm young, I'm an unsafe driver. Alas, all the idiots ruin it for us safe young adults.) Anyway the Vette clears out and is mint shape, no accidents, and is selling for $14,900 with 74K miles, a steal if you ask me. Anyway I have over $16,500 saved up, which leaves me with an issue. I can afford the car no problem, but I just know the insurance will be through the roof. However I was wondering if any of you have any idea on the cost. I have Metropolitan if you were wondering.

Im shopping around for car insurance but when i go online to get a quote, they always ask for a phone number and address and the reg of the car. But im only looking for estimates as I don't have a car and im only wondering how much different cars might cost to insure so how am i supposed to tell them how much the car's worth and all that. I dont want to leave my number because I dont want phone calls asking if i want their insurance or not. Any good way to handle this?

I think I do my car insurance a little different than most people. My family goes through a company who pays the insurance people in full. We then pay that company back. I got a new car in January and my insurance went from $25/mo with the '77 Ford Granada I had to over $200/mo with the 2001 Chevy Cavalier. i'm a 15 year old who has a birthday a little ways away, but i'm trying to get a good idea of what i might get for my first car. my preferences: -nothing the cops would pull over late at night for suspicion of younger driver. i plan on sneaking out, and my city has a curfew, for everyone 16 and under. -i would LOVE for it to be rear-wheel drive. this isn't really needed, but i'd love for it to be. -my parents are spending no more than $10,000 on the car, and it'll be have to be used. -airbags. (parent requirement.) -insurance can't be too high. as in, not sporty. nothing like a mustang or anything along those lines. -it can't be BMW, jaguar, infiniti, cadillac, lexus or anything like that. my mom said they're snobby or grandma cars. -no SUV. (also parent requirement.) -i'm not a hatchback fan. -GOOD GAS MILEAGE!!!!!!! cars i had in mind were: nissan altima mitsubishi lancer mazda3 ford focus honda accord i'd like for you to mention the year of the car, too, if you know it.

I never received bill or warning in the mail or phone call from my agent. Either they made a mistake or my parents thought it was junk mail. Over 6 months have gone by. Should I call my agent or the insurance company? I figure rates will go up even though I didn't do anything wrong.

Is there a reason to notify my auto insurance company of a student driver?

Hi i dont live in the uk and use my car for 3-5 days every 6 weeks when im there, i did have ecar insurance for 1 month when i was there for the summer, now that i want just 3-5 days insurance they wont quote me, ive tryed tempcover and they are no good !! all the ones ive come across wont insure me because i have 9 points.. witch is typical as they say they can insure up to 8 points... so my question to you is this do you know of any short term 3-5 day car insurance comapany's that take drivers with 9 points? its stupid that 1 or 2 mistakes leads down this poor road :P
